The Snowy Scheme sits in the heart of Kosciuszko National Park and Snowy Hydro has been providing energy to Australia for over 70 years, beginning with the construction of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme in 1949.

Visitors to the region can learn about the Snowy Scheme at the Discovery Centre in Cooma, groups are catered for with tailored ‘Discovery Sessions’ and a host of experiences in their world-class immersive theatre, Snowy Hydro offer tailored education programs including face-to-face sessions and outreach programs.

TRC was engaged on a bespoke ad-hoc basis to provide professional advice on Snowy Hydro tourism projects and initiatives as required. This included advice on their current visitation strategy and immediate focuses, alongside industry trends, potential initiatives in tourism, and partnership opportunities.
