TRC consultant Tracey Diddams and First Nations cultural tourism specialist Victor Cooper met up this week to prepare resources for Stage 2 of the NT Aboriginal Cultural Tourism Framework.

A Tourism NT and NT Aboriginal Tourism Committee initiative, you may recall we worked together on Stage 1 to develop the first introductory phase of the Framework, producing a range of culturally designed tools to support Aboriginal Territorians starting out on their cultural tourism business journeys. 

Stage 2 will see a new suite of resources that continue to balance the ‘cultural way’ and ‘business way’ tourism development pathway. New resources will guide business planning, feasibility studies, product and experience development, consumer brand marketing, trade distribution and approaches for sector specific markets. We will also be working together with Darwin-based First Nations media producers Moogie Down, marketing experts Top End Marketing Co and landscape design specialists Clouston Associates.
