Advice to the Kyrghizstan government on tourism the future focus for tourism development in a central Asia country attracting about 3 million visitor a year, mainly from Russia, Kazakhstan and Europe. Potential exists for improving adventure opportunities for trekking, mountaineering, horse riding, fishing and skiing and cultural experiences associated with the ‘Silk Road’ and nomadic lifestyles.
