Project Description
Porirua City Council wanted to ascertain the best approach to positioning Porirua City, and the various places within it, to attract visitors from the wider Wellington region and beyond.
With a significant potential catalyst project on the horizon and other existing developments and offerings in place, it was timely to develop a strategic plan which would guide sustainable growth in the visitor economy and also prioritise decision-making surrounding economic, environmental and social benefits for local residents.
TRC was engaged to work with the Council to develop strong destination positioning and a robust visitor plan.
