Alistair is an experienced tourism professional specialising in planning and development of protected area, and natural and cultural heritage sites.
His knowledge is underpinned by 25 years’ experience in the development, operation and management of significant tourism infrastructure and adaptive reuse of major historic sites, including World Heritage areas. Alistair’s protected area management expertise is complemented by qualifications in Architecture and Planning. He has worked on projects across Australia, New Zealand the Pacific and South East Asia.
Skilled at identifying new visitor opportunities, improving existing destinations, increasing revenue and achieving operational efficiencies, Alistair is also an effective communicator. He has extensive experience working with local communities to help them achieve their goals.
