Camping with Custodians

TRC worked with Aboriginal Traditional Owners in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia to develop camping products on their land to meet an accommodation gap for visitors undertaking backcountry touring. The project involved extensive consultation with communities and government agencies to address planning, land and access issues. Plans were developed to address identified issues and assist business development.
