Project Description
TRC was engaged to undertake a feasibility study for a gourmet trail in the Coal River Valley. The Study sought to reveal the alignment and likely success of a potential walking and cycling trail connecting the food and wine providers, tourism attractions and other points of interest along the Coal River Valley.
A detailed assessment was undertaken of existing and potential visitor markets, target markets, relevant planning documents, a product audit and potential access across private/public lands, roads, trails and various landscapes. Recommendations were provided in the final report following a review of the location, consideration of the opportunities and consultation with land managers, stakeholders and the community.
