Project Description
TRC Tourism was engaged to conduct a review of the Kokoda Track Authority to ensure that the Authority was structured and well-supported in a way that would best enable it to achieve its sustainable development, safety, landowner and community goals.
Complex relationships between stakeholder groups across various government sectors, nations, villages and industries were navigated in the development of the review, wide stakeholder consultation was conducted and both public and internal documents were analysed. TRC Tourism recommended a purpose-built organisational structure model with clear guidelines that would address current issues and deliver strong results.
