Project Description
A strategy to further develop tourism in a region of New Zealand’s South Island known for its sunny climate, national parks, the Abel Tasman Coastal Track, cycling opportunities, local produce and creative arts. The new Strategy aims to leverage investment in new experiences – events and conferences, cycling, mountain biking, a proposed gondola at nelson, the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary, soft adventure and creative arts and culture. The region’s experiences will be geared to key markets including UK, European, US and Chinese independent travellers.
