TRC Tourism was engaged to develop a Business Case for the Timber Creek Hotel to assist with attracting funding through the NT Roadhouse to Recovery grants program. TRC Tourism also provided expert assistance navigating the selection criteria, online application process and final submission. As a result, the Timber Creek Hotel was successful in receiving $120,000 to improve their visitor experience for the self-drive market.
The funding will be used to enable the Timber Creek Hotel to continue implementing their vision, by offering high-quality services and experiences that encourage visitors to stay longer in Timber Creek and the broader region, share their positive experience with others and visit time and time again. This will include the purchase and installation of two new self-contained cabins to cater for growing corporate, group and family markets and construct and the installation of a new campground amenities block that will be universally accessible.
