Project Description
A comprehensive plan to guide local government in providing open space for recreation, conservation, amenity and trails in Australia’s fastest growing urban region in the west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Development of the plan involved a detailed consultation process with local government staff, other government agencies, community groups, developers and local residents.
As key suburbs of Australias largest cities continue to grow, town and green belt planning is essential to ensure there is enough recreation space for the amount of homes and people in development areas.
