
Alysia Brandenburg
Specialist Tourism Consultant
Alysia has a lifelong passion in sustainable nature-based and eco-tourism with extensive experience in the tourism sector. Her career spans roles with resorts, major attractions, regional boards, industry associations, and an extensive career at Parks Victoria as Tourism Manager.
Alysia has led successful public land tourism activations, including feasibility studies, precinct and master planning, nature-based experience development, commercial leases and licenses, interpretation and communication planning, response and recovery programs, and marketing partnerships. She has a passion for regional destination planning, standards and certification, sustainable industry development, and visitor economy collaboration.
Recognised for her contributions, Alysia is a National Tourism Award Judge, a board director for Ecotourism Australia and the Walhalla Board of Management and is Regional Tourism Ambassador for ARTN. With a Master of Tourism from Monash University and as an IAP2 Engagement Practitioner, Alysia brings a diverse wealth of experience and a strong skill set to any tourism-related initiative.
