Throughout Chris’s impressive 30-year career, he has helped destinations plan, implement and manage sustainable tourism initiatives.
He has developed strategy, business plans, accommodation supply and demand assessments, and feasibility assessments for a range of tourism projects. He has worked across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific, and spoken at international conferences across the world.
With TRC, Chris has worked extensively in community and stakeholder engagement, service delivery, investment facilitation, tourism infrastructure, market demand and analysis, and product development. He has a comprehensive understanding of public land management and tourism, and planning for good governance..
Chris also has a strong track record in working with local government, land management agencies, regional tourism organisations and UNESCO. He understands the need for strong governance and is a qualified and practicing Company Director.
