Lisa’s passion for tourism, recreation and conservation is demonstrated by her extensive time spent living, studying and travelling overseas. This included training with United Nations partner REDR, and working on Australian Government initiatives in India and Indonesia.
Working in a remote Aboriginal community with Maningrida Arts and Culture, gave Lisa proficiency in liaising with indigenous stakeholders at a grassroots level, and with high-end clients at a national and international level Her ability to develop meaningful connections and understand the cultural and social factors affecting Aboriginal communities and businesses was recognised through Lisa being welcomed to stay on country and invited to attend numerous women’s business and ceremonies.
