Break O’Day Building Better Regions Funding Application

Project Description

The Building Better Regions Fund Community Investments Stream grant aims to invest in projects outside of traditional infrastructure that seek to strengthen the sense of community in regional areas, to build leadership capacity, grow local events and plan for the future.
As the Break O’Day Trails Strategy concept was an eligible project under this funding stream, the application needed to focus on the project’s potential to drive economic growth and a build stronger Break O’Day community into the future.
TRC worked with our associate DeltaPearl Partners to complete the online application form and address all the assessment criteria in order for Council’s application to be considered. Therefore, the application put together by TRC and DeltaPearl focused on the Trails Strategy concept economic and social benefits, including capacity and impact.
