2016 PIA NT National Awards

The Northern Territory Government has recently released its Master Plan for mountain biking in the Northern Territory. The Northern Territory Mountain Bike Master Plan was developed by TRC in partnership with EarthCheck and ediacara for Tourism NT and the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the NT. The plan defines the vision for mountain biking in the territory, which is that the Northern Territory will be recognised worldwide as the place to be different and to do the unexpected – to experience the heart of Australia on its world class mountain bike trails. The plan outlines five major strategies for achieving the vision and will be used to guide investment in and development of sustainable mountain biking opportunities to accomplish this goal.
