This week TRC Director Janet Mackay attended the Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference hosted by WAITOC, Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council. The theme of the conference was ‘Entrepreneurship – from little things big things grow’. The conference offered thought-provoking insights from tourism experts and industry leading organisations showcasing the diversity of Aboriginal culture and celebrating the achievements made in the tourism industry.
