TRC is currently working in Rutherglen and Surrounds for the Indigo Shire Council preparing a Destination Management Plan that will help shape the strategic directions for tourism growth in the famous Rutherglen and surrounds wine region. Chris Rose has been on site last week running workshops with industry, community and the Winemakers of Rutherglen to understand where the industry is at now and their aspirations for the future. Of course research is vital to understanding the strengths of the industry.
The DRAFT DMP will be presented to Council and industry later in November.
