Last week Kylie was actively involved in Tourism Super Week, a major conference held in Nadi, Fiji, focused on strengthening and empowering stakeholders across the tourism sector, particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The event brought together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and community representatives for a series of expert-led workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions aimed at driving innovation, trade readiness, and sustainable growth in Fiji’s tourism landscape.

With the theme “Veisolisoli for Success: Sharing Knowledge, Building Futures”, the week-long program offered expert-led workshops, panel discussions, and practical training sessions to foster innovation, build trade readiness, and strengthen business acumen across Fiji’s dynamic tourism sector.

Kylie wore many hats throughout the week:

• Delivered the Keynote Address – “Looking Forward: Beyond Sustainability – Evolving Tourism for a Regenerative and Resilient Future”
• Facilitated the session on Strategic Planning for Growth and Scale
• Was a Guest Speaker for the wrap-up session, sharing her experiences as a successful tourism business owner, Indigenous tourism operator, and consultant
• Moderated the panel discussion “Turning Vision into Action – Local Communities Leading Fiji’s Tourism Future”
• Led the workshop on Developing Authentic Fijian Cultural Shore Excursions

As Tourism Super Week wraps up today, we look forward to hearing Kylie’s reflections and key takeaways from what has been a jam-packed and inspiring week of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and future-focused dialogue.
