TRC Consultant Tracy Johnston has been working in the Tairāwhiti Gisborne region to support the development of new tourism business ventures. Today Tracy went out with Geoff Main the man behind Gisborne Railbikes. Seven weeks in and already 1000 people have been out on the bikes. This is one of several new products established this summer that will be making a positive impact on the visitor economy.
