Ideally, signage welcomes visitors to a destination, guides their journey, reassures them along the way and welcomes them to each experience, site or business. At its worst, signage can be inaccurate, confusing, offensive and unwelcoming.

What is the general tone and messages shared – do they align with your positioning? How could they be improved? Could you work on a simple ‘style guide’ for stakeholders to help them bring to life the region’s positioning through their signage, or share a template for welcome signage to individual businesses to encourage consistency across your destination?
