With the 2019 Kokoda trekking season approaching, maintenance and repair work is underway. The work is managed by the Kokoda Track Authority with the support of the Australian Government through the Kokoda Initiative. TRC Trails expert Chris Halstead is on the ground providing specialist assistance and logistical support to ensure the safe passage of the 3,500 trekkers set to take on the famous 96-kilometre track.
