Alistair from TRC recently met with our contractors Apia Lua on site at the popular Afu Aau waterfall on Samoa’s big island Savai’i. Apia Lua had completed Stage 1 of the works last November before the rainy season and we were pleased to see the earthworks had held up well despite some significant storms. We discussed the next stage of works implementing landscape treatments and refurbishing the old toilets. The work provides easier access to this refreshing swimming spot. Work will recommence next month to be ready for the busy school holiday season in July and August. The works are part of the Samoa Tourism Growth Partnership funded by NZ Aid and supported by the Samoa Tourism Authority.
