Proposed Wine and Food Cycle Trail for Margaret River

Jancis Robinson, one of the world’s foremost expert in wine once described Margaret River as one of the greatest regions she has visited in the world for wine, food and natural beauty. Yet to cycle around the vineyards is a difficult thing to do.
TRC is working with the Council’s and State Government to help develop a concept, alignment and feasibility for a wine and food cycle trail around the Wilyabrup sub region of Margaret River.
This week Chris Rose spent several days meeting stakeholders, understanding their views and looking on site for trail options. The project will go over several months culminating in a feasibility study for the partners in the project being the Department of Transport, The Southwest Development Commission and Tourism WA.
