In 2019, TRC worked with Eurobodalla Shire Council on a strategy to position the area as a premier adventure-trail destination. The Mogo Adventure Trails Hub Strategy provided Council with a framework of short, medium and longer-term actions to transform the town into a mountain-bike destination of choice. Following the devastating 2020 Black Summer bushfires, investment from the NSW and Australian governments has helped to bring this vision to life. The first 70km of the Mogo Mountain Bike Trail Network opened to riders on 17 August, with the network set to host the ‘Sea Otter Classic’ global mountain-bike event on the trails in 2025.
